Our remodelled studio and luxury viewing area makes your photographic studio sitting a really pleasurable experience.
Simplicity is often the key to a successful portrait, so, consider what to wear to best capture both age and personality. Although family members may not want to ‘match’ clothing wise, it is important not to introduce too many colours or to mix too many lights and darks.
You may also want to consider bringing in personal items that have special meaning e.g. if you’re a keen rugby player or cricketer, or maybe dance clothes or jewellery and accessories to highlight the occasion.
We have a dressing room available, so if you need to finish applying makeup or change the children’s clothing prior to your session, you can do so in comfort.
During the session, our female photographer will try a variety of both fun and traditional poses to capture a range of images, so look through our online galleries to find your favourite poses and looks.
Your photo shoot in the studio is absolutely free, and with an hour time slot you will have plenty of time for the use of props and outfit changes. All we ask is that you pay a £20 deposit to hold your appointment which is refunded against your final order.
From experience, we have found that most clients like to look at paper proofs as it makes choosing between comparable shots, perhaps with similar facial expressions much easier than flicking between digital images on screen. We believe in letting you decide which images you like rather than choosing for you! Whilst viewing the proofs from your photo shoot, we can suggest innovative ways to make your portraits more creative and unique.
We have a large range of wall frames, perspex blocks, multi-aperture and other display options so we can always find the right style to suit you, your surroundings and your budget. We show a selection of different styles in our galleries – so take a look.
Once your order is complete, both your digital images and paper proofs will be kept on file, allowing you, or other family members to order additional photographs in the future.
